Nonno- it was great growing up with you by my side. I will always remember you picking me up from Elementary school and waiting on the corner for John and I with a smile on your face- and all the summers making homemade pasta sauce with the tomatos in the backyard with you and Nonna. I feel blessed to have had you in my life for so many years. I will miss your singing in Italian and it will never be the same leaving the house without you telling me to "drive safe" and "call once I get home" in Italian. It was always the best celebrating your birthdays, you loved going out to eat and having your birthday balloon in front of the house. I am so happy you got a chance to know my husband, even though you called him "Jackie" instead of "Justin"- and that you loved him too. Nugget and Champboo still love you so much-- and I don't think your bird will ever like Mom because that bird likes no one but you. You are missed more than you know and I know you and Nonna are looking over us now. I love you and will always remember all the great times. 96(almost 97) amazing years.
