Alex Eliades, 78, of Wallington formerly of East Rutherford, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017. Born to Elias and Anna (nee Liristi) Eliades in Greece. He was married in Greece to his spouse Joanne (nee Pahoundis) and together they entered the US in 1963 to settle in East Rutherford where he and Joanne raised their children, Maria and Louis. Joanne predeceased Alex in 2007 after 45 years of marriage. Alex was the owner of Alex’s Custom Kitchen’s in East Rutherford since 1967. He designed and manufactured cabinets and furniture. He was a master craftsman with woodworking.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and boating and most of all his family.
Alex will be deeply missed by his daughter Maria Eliades, his son Louis and companion Beth Jones, grandchildren, Joanna, Georgina and Samantha, his siblings; George & wife Angela, John & wife Antonia, Bill, Emanuel &wife
Paulina, Sophia Halkias, Nicholas & wife Linda and many nieces & nephews.

Family will receive friends Friday 5-9pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
Funeral on Saturday all to arrive 9:45am for 10am Funeral Service in Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, 818 Valley Road, Clifton.
Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
